Hi ! I'm Emily, I'm 20 and I live between Bath and Birmingham in the UK, where I study French with Art History.

Last year, I had two workaway experiences in the South of France - I learnt new skills and met lots of lovely people. I gained a new love for the outdoors, exploring new places and the sociable workaway experience. I'm hoping to have another great time this summer :)

I'm very interested in culture and the arts, and enjoy creative activities, cooking and baking. I also love music and play a little piano and guitar.
I'm a hard worker and I'm willing to help with any housework, maintenance, cooking or gardening in exchange for a cultural immersion.

So, I am keen to get involved and learn as much as I can from the people that I meet!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Having worked in hospitality for the past few years, I have great customer service skills - I am sociable and can get along with anyone!
Cafe work has also made me efficient and organised with cleaning and household maintenance jobs - I'm not afraid of hard/dirty work when needed.

Last year I had two lovely workaways. I first spent 10 days near Marseille, where I learnt about organic cooking, while refurbishing and painting wooden shutters. Then I spent a week harvesting lavender on a farm near Montpellier. I learnt so much from both these experiences and met loads of cool people :)

I'm confident with phones and computers, so could help with social media communication or promotion.

I also have some experience with babysitting and enjoy spending time with children. I would definitely be interested in teaching English if needed.

But overall, I am keen to learn anything new you can teach me.
