Looking to volunteer in Colombia, in hostels, wildlife projects, English teaching and language exchange.

Beschreibung

We have travelled around Latin America extensively for two years. We love backpacking and hostel culture. We are both passionate about geography, culture, nature and the environment; also finding a more hippy and sustainable way of living. we have volunteered at an eco hostel in northern Colombia, that focused on permaculture and building a sustainable community in the jungle. We are currently learning Spanish and want to continue until we are fluent. We are very social and love being part of a community and meeting new people. We want to try a variety of volunteering experiences, hostels, environmental conservation, teaching English, construction and creative endeavours. We really want to expand our knowledge of agriculture, permaculture and animal care in order to contribute to a more sustainable planet. Also learning more about building and making things in sustainable ways would be amazing as we are both creative and practical people that have enjoyed the DIY and handiwork that we have done. We are both super passionate about food and we love cooking.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are both easy going, approachable and friendly people, that love being around others and meeting people from all over the world. We like to properly get to know the culture of a new place. We have travelled to many countries in South America and Europe and volunteered in hostels. We both have lots of hospitality experience in both kitchens, serving and hosting. Strong interest and aptitude for caring for nature and animals. We are both fully TEFL certified and have experience working with children.

Was noch ...

Emily: I am a creative, easygoing person that loves being around people. I am really interested in animals and am a lover of nature, but I also love the culture that cities bring. Travelling is a great way to experience both. I am very open to learning new thing. I would love to try more artistic or conservation projects with animals etc.

JJ: I am an outgoing and friendly person. I love learning new skills and have a quick to learn and hands on approach to activities. I love travelling because meeting new people and understanding other cultures is important and fascinating to me. I enjoy being around all types of nature, hiking, cooking, geography and working with technology.
