Hi, I'm Emily!

I'm a 28 year old New Zealander who has spent the last 2 years living and working in London. Coming from a background in heritage and the arts, I love all things history and culture, museums and archaeology! I feel my best when I'm out in the wild parts of the world and love nothing more than a hot cup of tea after a long days hike. I'm a big fan of getting out there and trying new things (currently attempting to learn how to snowboard). I have over 5 years hospitality experience in restaurants, bars, hostels, at catered events and luxury chalets.

An attentive and friendly individual with over five years’ experience in heritage and hospitality, I bring strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills. I am comfortable working in challenging conditions, and remain calm, observant and adaptable under pressure. My background in archives and collections reflects my strong respect for conservation, heritage and accurate record-keeping, alongside my genuine interest in protecting and maintaining natural environments. Enthusiastic about contributing to hands-on conservation work, I am adept at working independently and collaborating with small teams.

In past roles I have been responsible for:
- General housekeeping in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas.
- Making and preparing breakfast for B&B services.
- Dinner services (restaurants, chalets, weddings, special events).
- Laundry and linen changes.
- Waiting tables and coffee/bar service.
- Stock taking, organising and cataloguing archives (heavy boxes and delicate items).
- General outdoor maintenance.
- Writing, editing and workflow management.
