Beschreibung

Hi! I'm Emilia, I'm 18 years old, I currently live in a town not far from London but I'm from Poland. I recently finished sixth form college (high school) and I'm taking a gap year before moving on to studying forestry at university. During this gap year I'm eager to solo travel somewhere far from home in search of adventure, lifelong experiences, reconecting with nature, learning new skills and meeting new people.

I've recently returned from a backpacking trip around central Europe where I took part in a few Workaway experiences, mostly farmstays. Now I'm searching for a longerterm (2 months or more) experience and am open to anything. I love nature, animals and the outdoors so working on some type of farm would be ideal but I don't mind where in the world it is as I'm keen to try everything and visit everywhere.

I'm a very hardworking person whose not afraid of manual work, long or irregluar hours. I especially enjoy working outdoors and in nature. I'm a very fast learner and am keen to do any job enthusiastically. I'm confident that I'll be of great help with any task as I have lots of experience with diy projects around the house as well as gardening and working with animals. From my previous farmstays I have experience working with with cattle, horses and of course pets, as a petsitter/dogwalker. In the past I have had a retail job for a year, a major part of which was maintaining good customer service and hospitality, so also have good skills for any job that involves working with customers/guests.

Some of my hobbies include, photography, painting, reading and diy projects; I like cooking and ocassionally baking, with my favourite thing to make being anthing new and challanging. But some things I would like to learn more about include horseriding, carpentry, farmwork and beekeeping.

I have pleanty of interets and hobbies which match up with my skills. I'm a really crafty and creative person who loves arts and diys, so I have various skills within that field. My other interests include reading, photography and world geography and I enjoy painting and the arts. I really also love to cook for my family and try out new recipes. I have plenty of experience with gardening and small building projects from helping out on my family allotment and around the house, all year round. As for languages I am fluent in both English and Polish, and recently spent a couple of years self-teching myself a few other languages.
