Beschreibung

Hey, my name is Emilia and I’m from Hamburg in northern Germany.
I finished high school in 2019.
I went to a Waldorf school which has a special focus on art, practical work and social interaction.
I have a strong interest in all kinds of arts and love getting to know new forms of expressing art.
After my graduation I worked in an organization which sends you to different families who need help with their children and household. I really loved this job because I like children and spending time with them makes me very happy.


At the beginning of 2020 I traveled to southeast Asia and got to know some countries. This was the point in my life where my love for traveling started. Since then I couldn’t stop traveling and getting to know new countries.

I love the sea and I am very interested in all water sports.
I love the nature and it gives me pleasure to work outside with plants or building things.

The last year I spend in Brasil.
Most of the time I lived in Serra Grande/Bahia and did different kinds of volunteer work such as working in a school, surf school, Carpenter, sewing clothes etc.
In the beginning of September I traveled to Bolovia and stayed there for seven weeks.

At the beginning I worked for three weeks in a Workaway in Santa Cruz. There I worked in the garden and cleaned Airbnb rooms…

After that time I traveled a little bit though Peru, Ecuador and Colombia where I worked in two different hostels for seven weeks and a bio construction (with Bambu) project.

I then returned to Brazil on many different boats through the Amazon region.

I am now traveling through Mexico with my sister and hope to get to know the country better through volunteer projects.

I love meeting new people and learning new things about different cultures and traditions. I think a very good way to realize this is working in places all around the world with diverse people.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your family.
