Hi all,

My Name is Elina and I am 29 years old. I grew up in a rural region in Germany and my family owns a little cabin in the woods, some sheep and a few years ago also 2 horses. I started my journey in August last year with a good friend in Canada. There we helped on a little Farm on Vancouver Island with gardening and maintainance work. Later we stayed on a private horse farm and helped with the animals and easy construction work. In October I travelled to Fiji and stayed there with a lovely family on a remote island. In Australia I helped a couple with a small farm in the rainforest. I took care of cattle, dogs and the garden and I learned to drive a tractor and the fancy Australian mower ;) I would love to be part of your family for a while for the true local experience.

- It would be nice to have a own private room or place - from time to time I need to be alone (no worries it is not to often)
- I really like children but I am not so into babysitting

It would be nice to improve my English. I would say that I am able to communicate in English but I am afraid of speaking. Hopefully you can help me with that problem. :) little Update: it becomes better and better but I still need help to become more fluent and get rid of all the small mistakes I make.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

After studying Forestry I worked as a scientist at the University. We investigated the behavior of wolves and red deer on a training area in Germany. For that we tagged adult red reed and calves. So I've got some experiences with working with animals (including ear taggs), stalking and being outside alone.

Beside this really specialized stuff I've got experiences in:

- working with/ handling animals (dogs, horses, sheep, chicken,...)
- training dogs
- building fences
- working with the chainsaw ( just lying smaller wood)#
- making firewood
- catching animals (sheep, red deer)
- housework
- cooking
- navigating
- driving cars and I've got some experiences in driving off road from TAs in Germany and Poland
- horse riding (some years ago but we had 2 horses)
- driving small motor boats ( we've got our own small nutshell with 10PS)
- basic knowledge about plants and gardening

And I think the most important I am always interested in learning something new. :) I am a quick learner and resilient.
