Beschreibung

Hi! My name is Elena and I am currently in my gap year after (Dutch) Highschool. This year I want to broaden my horizon and discover who I am and what I would like to do. As I am a very adventurous person, I feel like traveling and meeting new people and atmospheres is the way to go.

I have a lot of different hobbies and interests. I love being active and outdoors the most. I have been doing athletics for over 12 years and have been sailing in my free time aswell. I used to own a little sailboat and would love to learn more about boat maintenance. Furthermore, have basic experience with gardening as I occancionally help my mother who works in the field. At last, I really enjoy (making) music, I play the piano and am working on my guitar and ukelele skills. I also love singing (along) but that might not be my strongest suit. :)

I’m looking for a place to stay for four to six weeks. I’m searching for a group or small community with more travellers. A nice atmosphere and good vibes are a must for me.

There are a lot of reasons why I’d like to go to Costa Rica. I would love to learn and improve my Spanish. Besides, the nature, beaches and climate really appeal to me. I would love to experience how the days could be.

In short my name is Elena, I am 18 years old, from the Netherlands and trying to learn Spanish. I love being in nature, don’t mind to get my hands dirty and open to learn new skills. And I would very much like to meet you!

I very much want to learn Spanish. I have had some in school and have been doing lots of duolingo aswell and hope to take some more Spanish lessons in the future. I am be able to teach Dutch an English.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a lot of different hobbies and interests. Because of that, I know a little about a lot.
I am currently doing a variety of jobs including waitressing and bartending
I have had a side job as a gardener where I learned the basics like mowing grass, cutting out weed an planting.
Furthermore I learned a lot about dogs with my dog walking and sitting job.
I’m also really into athletics and give training to people from very different age groups (8-70 years).
I enjoy working in a team and multitasking while doing so.

But most important thing is that I very much like to learn. I love learning new skills, I am a quick learner and I am intrested in almost everything
I like working hard don’t mind getting my hands dirty.
