I'm exploring Morocco by bike, working in various farm projects and living nomadic. Would love to meet new friends along the journey!

Beschreibung

Marhaba! My name is Obaid, a genuine person who been traveling nomadic with my bike for 4 years years. I graduated in Tennessee US studied organic agriculture as international student about 7 years, had internships in different areas of farming and have some experience and interest in installing solar panels in farms. Since the pandemic my studies was fully online and that gave me the opportunity to bike touring and work in farms in the US and Mexico

I grew up in family small farm that focused on planting dates and watermelons back home in Yemeni Mountains. I love farming and learned authentic ways of farming and permaculture designs in different parts of the world. I'm interested in farming and crafts and DIY eco project.
I worked on and off for three years in building eco village community farm in Corvallis Oregon, it's non profit BIPOC organization that plant and grow native plants that benefit the diverse communities and empowering them to grow their own food.

In the past two years : I was in the gravel secrets path bike touring to embrace a new adventure full of beautiful memories from US to Ecuador while stopping and working in farms, then flew to Morocco and stayed for about 5 months working in two farms restoring the eco system of the desert and living with Nomadic families in the desert and learn history of tribes and cultures.

I'm still on my adventures cycling whole Indian Himalaya and Nepal and would love to work with simple local farmers and learn from them and immerse myself in their culture.
