Hi, my name is Simon, I'm 58 years old and recently retired after running a business for almost 40 years. I'm currently learning Italian, as I my heritage is from 'The beautiful country', and I'd like to spend some time immersed in the language and culture.
I enjoy nature, walking, hiking, camping and cycle touring. I also like reading and history. I travel as much as I can, and am curious to discover new experiences. I love working outdoors, and I'm proficient in property maintenance, small building projects, gardening and some tree surgery.
I like to keep busy, but equally enjoy a glass of wine while unwinding at the end of the day.
I'd like to think that I'm a courteous, respectful person and pretty easy going.

I really enjoy working outdoors, and having run a property business and maintained my own house and garden, I am have become familiar with lots of DIY tasks. I'm hard working and like to complete projects.
