My name is Dayna, I have been a zoo keeper for five years here in New Zealand and now I'm ready for my next adventure! I have a Bachelor's in animal management and welfare so I am looking to explore the wildlife, wilderness, and culture of countries around the world to build upon my experience and knowledge. I am passionate about the conservation and restoration of wildlife and wild places, and meeting people who share the same passion. I am a hard-worker who enjoys getting stuck into work, and having a laugh/chat with friendly people.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I enjoy to cook and bake, and I am happy to get my hands dirty cleaning or gardening. I have worked around a large variety of animals including domestics (horses, sheep, etc) and exotics (big cats, reptiles, birds), therefore, I am comfortable to care and work around pets, rescued and wild animals. My experience as a zookeeper has taught me to have great attention to detail, flexibility, and time management. Similarly, I am comfortable with public speaking and interacting with the public. I have experience with driving manual vehicles, horse floats and trailers, and quad bikes, and using gardening equipment like weed eaters.

My hobbies include horse riding and being out in nature. Inside, I like to bake, have movie nights with friends, and do puzzles. I am very self motivated and keep busy!
