Beschreibung

I'm Dario and I come from the hills of northern Italy. After several years of being pretty much settled down, the moment to travel has come again.
I have been a beekeeper for the last four years now, with my own business. I dedicated myself to this occupation with love, but I know I need something else in my life at the moment
I'm tired of too much stability, I'm seeking adventures in beautiful wild places and meaningful connections with humans. I'm open to the possibilities of the unknown and whatever the world has to offer.

I am curious about alternative ways of living and self sufficiency, especially sustainable food production. I want to learn more about wild foraging, medicinal herbs and mushrooms. I love deep talks about ecology.

I spend a good deal of my life outdoor, either going for long walks, working or watching birds. I am a passionate naturalist.

Besides these practical aspects, I have a love for humanities, that I kinda neglected in the last years, especially music and literature... I'd like this things to have more space my life.

Listening to stories is one of my favorite things ever. I dive into them through movies, books, music or with a stranger in front of a glass of wine.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm quite familiar with DIY, I was born in a craftsmen family and there was always something to do.

I've worked on and off for years as a gardener, I have some experience with chainsaws, brush cutters, mowers...

I have some general experience of "countryside jobs", like tending to a vegetable garden, fruit picking, feeding animals, chopping wood...

Beekeeping has been my actual job for the last four years, with my own business. I have good knowledge of all the aspects of it, from setting the hives in the field to selling the honey jar on the market stall. I could help you plan and establish your own beekeeping adventure. I have good knowledge of European fauna and flora, especially birds and wild plants. I've worked as an ornithologist with a couple of projects in the past.

I'm pretty decent at nature photography.

I would say I am a quick learner, motivated to learn new skills in different fields.
