Hey guys! I am a 27 year old from county Kerry in the beautiful South West of Ireland.

I have joined workaway with the hope of contributing the skills that I have, learning many more useful skills and meeting some interesting, like minded people. I love life, adventures and meeting new people. I am a sociable, independent and calm person and I feel I could easily slot into any working environment.

I have experience in working in farming, teaching and building environments. I am a yoga teacher and also training as a mindfulness practitioner.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Though I graduated last year with a degree in Economics, my passion and interests that I am looking to follow now are along rather different lines. I am a yoga teacher and am currently also training to be a mindfulness practitioner. I am a TEFL qualified English teacher and have also got much experience in teaching Teenagers as a tutor of Maths and Irish over the past five years. I love working with kids and young adults and feel very strongly about the power of education to influence the lives of young people in a positive and deeply affecting way. I am very sociable, empathetic person and I get along well with people wherever I travel.

I love the outdoors, spending much of my spare time surfing, climbing running and swimming. Having experienced it in my own life, I also feel strongly about the power of nature and the outdoors to impact positively on peoples lives. It is my goal to one day match my love for dealing with people with my love for the outdoors as an adventure therapist. Until that time comes, I am looking to travel, broaden my horizons, meet interesting and inspiring people and do some good work along the way.

I'm also quite practical and have much experience over the years working in manual labour and agricultural environments. I like working with my hands and keeping my hands in the dirt. I think it's good for the soul.

Was noch ...

I love the outdoors, and spend as much time as I can outside adventuring. I love to surf, hike and play football. I practice yoga daily and am currently learning how to play the guitar. Though I am a sociable person, I also enjoy spending lots of time on my own. My favorite thing to do when I have time to myself is read.
