Beschreibung

We are Coco (31) & Stella (29), a couple from Germany 🇩🇪
Currently, we are travelling around New Zealand and enjoying the freedom of life on the road.

We started our Workaway journey earlier this year in Auckland and are now open to new opportunities – both during our travels in New Zealand and looking ahead to our next destination.

During our time in New Zealand, we have already gained hands-on experience through Workaway, including house and dog sitting, as well as working for 7 weeks in a plant nursery. This gave us great insight into daily routines, responsibility and physical work, and we truly enjoyed being part of a team and supporting where needed.

From September 6th onwards, we are planning to be in French Polynesia and would love to find a meaningful Workaway experience there 🌺

We’re two positive, reliable and open-minded travellers who love meeting new people, learning new skills and contributing wherever we can. Coco has over 10 years of experience in sales, customer relations and team leading, while Stella has more than 8 years of experience as a nurse, including in psychiatry.

We’re not afraid of physical work and are happy to help with gardening, farm tasks, housekeeping, hospitality, animal care or whatever support is needed.

At the moment, we’re travelling flexibly through New Zealand, so we’re open to spontaneous opportunities here as well. We currently don’t have our own transport, so places accessible by public transport or with a pickup option would be ideal.

Corinna is very passionate about languages. Through her travels and time abroad she has developed a strong level of English (C1), and thanks to her Latin American friends she has also built a solid foundation in Spanish (around B1). She is excited to keep improving her fluency in English and to continue expanding her Spanish skills during our travels. Stella’s native language is German, and she is currently working on becoming more confident in English. She already has a basic vocabulary and is improving step by step. We are both very happy to help others learn and practice German, and we’re always open to language exchange with hosts or other travellers.

We are Coco and Stella – two open-minded, energetic and positive people who love connecting with others and learning new things along the way.
We’re excited to use Workaway to meet inspiring people, experience new cultures, and contribute wherever we can.

About Coco
I’m a very joyful and outgoing person, often described as having a positive energy and strong communication skills. I genuinely enjoy being around people and creating a good atmosphere.
Growing up, I took on various part-time jobs such as delivering newspapers, cleaning, washing dishes, helping in holiday camp kitchens and working at assembly lines. At home, I was always involved in gardening, cutting wood and general household tasks, so I’m used to hands-on work.
For the past 11 years I worked for the company Geberit in different roles:
completed my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
worked as a buyer
spent half a year working at our location in Sydney
worked 5 years in field sales
and most recently, I was the team leader of the internal sales department
Even though I truly enjoyed my career, my heart has always been drawn to exploring the world — which is why we decided to leave everything behind and go on this journey.

About Stella
Stella is a very empathetic, patient and caring person, and a wonderful listener. She loves being around people and adapts easily to all kinds of personalities.
She has worked in the service industry in several restaurants and has also helped on a farm, doing tasks like weeding and general outdoor work — she’s never afraid of getting her hands dirty.
Because of her passion for working with people, she completed a 3-year education as a registered nurse. For the last 4.5 years she worked as a psychiatric nurse, where she could use her strengths in empathy, communication and emotional support.
Outside of work, Stella is very active and loves running, playing volleyball, and trying any type of adrenaline-filled sport — she’s always up for adventure!

What we bring as a team
We are both open-minded, flexible, curious and motivated to learn. We enjoy physical work just as much as helping with people-oriented tasks. Whether it’s gardening, cleaning, hospitality, animal care, helping around the house or supporting community projects — we are happy to contribute.
Workaway, for us, is a chance to connect, grow, support and create meaningful memories with wonderful hosts around the world.

Was noch ...

We are both very social people who love connecting with others. Coco is a big fan of board games and is always excited to bring people together for a fun game night. Stella, on the other hand, is the one who brings the action – she loves anything adventurous and is always ready to try something new.
We both feel happiest in nature, especially around water, and we’re absolute sunset lovers – those magical moments are what we live for. We also enjoy listening to music, discovering new places, and sharing good energy with the people we meet along the way.
