Beschreibung

Hi! I'm Clare, (or Clara, or Clarita, or Bones depending on who you ask :P) a 27 year old artist/writer from Canada, with a passion for learning and sharing all I can.

I'm a sociable introvert seeking to make meaningful connections on my journeys, however they might show up. My travels have been a huge privilege in so many ways. Spending time with animals and nature is deeply important to me, and I'm very eager to learn more about traditional ways of being in relation with the earth and one another. It's nice to get your hands dirty!

I'm a hard worker with a variety of skills and interests, very adaptable, and very easy going in general. My biggest hope is to create some special memories, and stay adventurous always.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have been taking care of animals for 10+ years, and have experience with most domestic animals, as well as horses, alpacas, goats, chickens, snakes, monkeys and even a puma once.

I've worked in large and small scale organic gardens and orchards, done light pruning, am able to harvest and pack fruit, use a tree ladder, and run certain types of irrigation lines!

I like fermentation and canning a lot, and have learned a little about foraging and processing wild food. I'd love to learn more!

Art is super important to me! I like playing with various mediums, though I am most confident with videography, photography, music, theater, design, textile repair and writing.

Finally, I've had plenty of experience in community care, harm reduction, somatic movement, house sitting, cooking, cleaning, and etc. I'm always up to try something new.

I'm really hoping to learn more about off grid living, and a slower, more sustainable way of life! I'd love to gain some more self sufficiency skills, building, growing, mechanics and etc.
