Currently in the South Island, I'm discovering the region around me. At the moment in Christchurch, I'll be in the Nelson area from the 14th to 24th of July. I love hiking and to be close to the ocean

Beschreibung

Growing up in France, I studied and became an engineer in a field that I proudly care about : the environment and water sciences. Working in Australia on an industrial site with a local team taught me essential skills such as field, communication and adaptability. Today, on a Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand, I am eager to continue to work in a new environment, develop new skills and learn from new experiences. I am particularly interested in eco-projects, charity work, working with people, kids and animals and live for the outdoors. Can't way to share an experience with you ! ☺️

Experiences in New Zealand:
-Au Pair (Ohinewai, from January to March2025) : for a family with a 2yo girl and a 8yo boy.
-Helper at Wacky Stays-Llama trekking (Kaikoura, June2025) : Animal care including feeding, hay, cleaning of paddocks( 80 animals : llamas, pigs, sheeps, alpacas, deers, chickens, ducks), Care for lands and accommodations (raking, poo-picking, poo-vacuuming, housekeeping), guest check-in and feed-touring.

Was noch ...

On my free time, I enjoy hiking, animal caring, snorkeling, bird-sighting, rope-climbing and bouldering, skiing, board games/card games (could teach a lot of those with just one deck of cards !), baking. I don't have much experience in gardening but would be really interested to learn more about it, especially vegetable/fruit gardens. I do have some experience as a volunteer in tree planting in sand dunes and seaweed seeds collection off the west coast of Australia.
