Hello! We are Gabriele and Francesco, two guys from Trani, a little city in South Italy; we’ve been friends for a long time, we did a lot of stuff together, like traveling, doing sports or, simply, have fun! We discover the opportunity to travel with Workaway and we think that we are in the right period of our life to have this experience, for growing, helping and having fun.

Hi!! I’m Francesco, I am twenty one years old and I have just graduated in Design and Communication at the Politecnico di Milano. I think that my life is marked by my passions and from the research of what I love, linked to the necessity of self expression. I do this especially with two mediums: music and photography. Among all the creative fields, the music is the one that I have the strongest attachment to, in fact I play piano and I've played drums and cello; I also love to sing. The photography is for me a way to stop a moment with the illusion to make it last for ever, using light, contrast and shadows; I'm more into analog photography and I've recently done an exhibition.
I find the contact with the inner me with the contact with the nature, the animals, being open with the next, and I think that this is essential to increase our awareness of the world and of ourself, finding the beauty in the randomness.

Hello! My name is Gabriele and I’m 21 years old. Currently I live in Rome while I’m studying for a bachelor in aerospace engineering at Sapienza university. I always loved science and i love to understand and explore what surrounds me. This is also the reason why i want to do new experiences and discover new stuff whenever i can. I’m always hungry to learn, but not only something that is science-related, even literature, history, philosophy and more. One of my biggest hobbies are playing guitar and analog photography. I consider myself to be very open minded. In my life I've never stopped for one second and i want to embrace every thing possible, in order to continue to fill my knowledge luggage.
This exchange opportunities are exactly what I need to get in contact whit new people, new environments and maybe discover a new part of me. I will never be tired of challenging myself!!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m Francesco and I think that my powerful skills are my ability to abstraction and my emotional intelligence. I also have photography and printing skills (I know how to make a book and so on), I've done a stage in a Photography Studio and recently an exhibition. I also have a good knowledge about music: I play piano and drums. For my degree of Design of Communication I also have skills in programs like: Illustrator, Indesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, Figma and Premiere. I did some works like brand identity, visual identity, video making, photo shooting and book design.
Hi, I’m Gabriele, the best skills of me are fast learning, high intuition and extreme curiosity. My degree in aerospace engineering offers me a lot of scientific and physic knowledge. I did some experience in a mechanical workshop and a farm, so I’m good in manual works and whatever requires ability with hands. The path that i chose leads me to be creative and to become a problem solver! Last but not least, I’m sociable and can’t wait to confront myself with others and improve me.
