Hello!

Our names are Christine and Rebecca and we are two best friends from a small town in Ohio starting our road-trip Journey around the country from August- December.

We've grown up together and want to experience a new way of living. We are both friendly, hardworking people who are up for a challenge.

My name is Christine and I'm a photographer who just graduated from Ohio University in May 2022 with a degree in commercial photography! My dad travelled and lived away from his home state when he was young and its aways been something I've wanted to do. Right after I graduated I took a 9-5 office job but have realized it doesn't fully suit me. I would love to travel more and I want to use this opportunity to find new passions in life and get out of my comfort zone.

My name is Rebecca and I am also a photographer! For so long, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my time and honestly I still feel like that most of the time. But nothing compares to when I travel to a new place. I helps me open my eyes to a brand new way of life and it really helps me get out of my comfort zone. I feel as if I am getting a little too comfortable living in Ohio so I feel like getting out on the road will help me experience new things on a level I haven't experienced before.

Workaway seems like a great way to travel slowly through the US and see as much as we can during our trip!

Christine: I have family from Japan, and Rebecca and I went on a trip in April to see them. I learned so much about the culture while I was there and I am hoping to move there for a while eventually, so I would absolutely love to learn to speak Japanese.Rebecca:I would love to know more Spanish. I have a basic knowledge of it and would love to know more. I also would love the opportunity to learn Greek, as I am Greek and would love to know at least some of the language.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Christine:
-I don't have a ton of experience but I am a fast learner and I love to try new things!
-Most of my skills come from what I studied! Photography and photo editing are my main focus but I also have a passion for painting, pottery and print making! (I would love to learn more about these areas as well if there's a teacher out there!)
- I have some bartending experience from a summer job (Im not sure if that will be helpful but who knows!)
- I have worked a few office jobs and am very organized.
- I spent the past two summers building terrarium scapes and keeping up with plants with my roommates.
- I can help with cleaning, cooking, and any general housework.
- I love working outside and can assist with farm work and gardening.

Rebecca:
I work hard and am a quick learner. I love getting my hands dirty and I am a hands on learner so anything of that nature is best.

- I am extremely organized and love organization and can assist with anything of that nature
- I am great with technology
- I am always up to learn more skills and to possess new talents

We would just love the opportunity to work with people from anywhere and to learn new skills along the way. We are passionate about being outside and helping others. Anything to get outside our comfort zones!

Christine:
-I dont have any experience, but Sailing/ working on boats in general is something I've always wanted to do! I also recently started practicing yoga and I absolutely love it!!

Rebecca:
- I love almost all board games and card games. Cooking, pottery, knitting, and other crafts are of interest to me.
