I'm currently taking a sabbatical and I'm looking for some nice people and would love to help you in realizing your projects while enjoying the nature.
Beschreibung
In 2023 I've reduced my job to 4 days per week and on my "free monday" I'm working as a volunteer at https://schilasmuehle.de/ mainly focusing on helping around the farm, repairing things, building stuff for the workshop and sometimes giving carpenter courses to some kids.
I've also participated in a 1 week carpenter course, where I've build a nice tray, a little shelf and a sideboard (see in my pictures), which really helped me further improving my skills.
At the moment I'm building a new work bench (see my pictures) for the workshop to get more space to store tools and stuff and get the workshop itself more organized. From mid May till mid june 25 I'll do a 4 week internship at a really cool carpenter's workshop (https://www.krebsmuehle.com/tische-gestalten.html) to further improve my carpenter skills.
Besides this I'm somehow good skilled in craftsmanship in general, also often helping my brother at his house and I'm keen learning new things.
I'm currently taking a sabbatical until end of august and I'm looking for some nice people and projects to assist during the summer at a lovely place with amazing nature.
In my freetime I like to play (Beach)Volleyball, ride my Mountainbike, do some fitness and I also like to play card/board games and reading books.
I also like to travel, especially to areas with really nice nature spots and/or to see animals in their natural habitat. My favorites so far were Marokko, Botswana, Madagaskar, Iceland and I hope to add Canada soon ;)

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I think I'm somehow good in carpentry (at least for a beginner) and in general I don't have "2 left hands". So I've helped my brother with building a trail around his house and lay parquet. I've already volunteered in 2021 for 5 days after the heavy flood in Ahrtal (Germany) where we knocked of plaster and tiles. Since 2023 I'm volunteering at a farm 1 day per week where I'm mainly focused on repairing things and building new stuff for the workshop.
