Hi there! I'm a 22 year old Australian-British girl who did the big move to Scotland May 2024. I was drawn to the Scottish Highland's natural beauty and slower pace of life. Since then, I've been on a journey of personal growth - one that's rooted in curiosity, openness, and a love of meaningful connection.

What brings me happiness is quite simple: being immersed in nature, meeting new people, and exploring and truly understanding different ways of life. I find real joy in discovering new countries, engaging with new cultures, and learning from the world around me. I'm especially drawn to quiet moments - those rare times when you can stop, breathe, and really listen to what life is teaching you.

Travelling to the opposite side of the world from Australia to the United Kingdom was the most thrilling and most nerve-wracking thing I've done. It is also the thing I am most proud of myself here. Since landing here on May 2025, I have travelled to over 10 countries. I interrailed through Europe for over a month last autumn - travelling to Brussels, Amsterdam, Krakow, Prague, Budapest, and Vienna. This trip helped me learn so much about myself, how capable I am of what I put my mind to. It taught me how to overcome challenges, navigate new cultures, and how to persevere throughout lonely times. Being able to see the beauty these countries had to offer, listen to the stories of those that call those countries home, and walk through streets full of history unbeknownst to me, brought me a new sense of understanding and knowledge I'll forever look back on.

I thrive when i am pushed out of my comfort zone - it is where I learn the most about myself and grow the fastest. Whether it is trying something I've never done before, helping in a new environment, or just stepping into someone else's world for a while, I am always up for the challenge.

Workaway, for me, is about exchange - sharing stories, lending a hand, and learning from others. I am excited to connect with people from all walks of life and contribute in any way I can while continuing to evolve as a person.

I'm a fast learner, open-minded, and always ready to get stuck in—whether it’s helping with day-to-day tasks or learning something completely new. Here are some of the skills I bring with me:

Strong work ethic – I’m reliable, hands-on, and happy to take initiative. I enjoy being helpful and working as part of a team or independently.

Communication & people skills – I love connecting with others and am comfortable interacting with people of all backgrounds and ages. I bring a warm, positive energy and enjoy being part of a community.

Adaptability – Moving countries and pushing myself out of my comfort zone has taught me how to adapt quickly, problem-solve, and stay calm under pressure.

Outdoor & physical work – I love nature and being active, so I’m more than happy doing outdoor tasks like gardening, basic maintenance, or helping on farms.

Creative & curious mindset – I’m always open to learning new things and love trying different kinds of work, from simple DIY tasks to cultural or language exchange, hospitality, or helping with animals.

Reflective & self-aware – I value being present and mindful in what I do, and I bring a thoughtful approach to tasks, especially when working with others.

Most of all, I come with an open heart and a willingness to learn, help, and contribute wherever I can.

Was noch ...

In my free time, I love slowing down and doing things that ground me or spark creativity. I’m a big reader—whether it’s fiction, memoirs, or something that makes me think differently, I always have a book close by and on the go. Ever since I was little. I also really enjoy writing as a way to reflect and process my experiences, especially when I’m traveling or spending time in nature.

Speaking of nature—hiking is one of my favourite ways to spend a day. I love being outside, getting fresh air, and discovering new trails, whether they lead through forests, along coastlines, or up mountains. Seeing the beauty the world has to offer is one of my favourite things to do.

I also enjoy hands-on, creative activities like crafts—anything from journaling and collage to trying out new DIY projects. I find joy in creating things with my hands and learning new skills along the way. I've recently started crocheting and am enjoying making new things like scarves and beanies.

These hobbies are a big part of why I love the Workaway lifestyle—they help me connect with the places I visit, the people I meet, and myself.
