Beschreibung

Hi! I’m Chen Fang from Taiwan. I recently completed my master’s degree in Rotterdam, and I’ll be staying here for at least another year.

I’m 27 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. My family has a lovely poodle back home in Taiwan, and I have also volunteered at a shelter for stray dogs. My grandmother lives in a mountainous area of Taiwan, where she has a large area of farmland and three dogs. I spent a lot of time there growing up, so I’m very comfortable around animals and familiar with helping to care for plants and crops.

Besides animals and gardening, I enjoy cooking, growing my own plants, and working on hands-on DIY projects. I also previously worked at an after-school programme, where I helped and supervised primary school children. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, learning about other ways of life, and sharing cultures and experiences.

I speak Mandarin and English fluently, and I know a little Spanish and Dutch. I would describe myself as responsible, reliable, patient, and willing to learn. When I take on a task, I try to do it carefully and always do my best to be helpful.

I’m new to Workaway, but I’ve actually been thinking about joining for more than a year. I was too busy with my studies before, so I’m very excited to finally have the time and opportunity to experience it.

I’m currently enjoying my summer break before starting a new job in Amsterdam this September. I’m looking forward to meeting new people, helping with everyday tasks and projects, and hopefully creating some great memories together! :)
