We are currently traveling through Asia, beginning in Sri lanka! We would love the opportunity to learn about your cultures, languages, foods, nature, animals as well as teach you about ours.

Beschreibung

Hi! We are Chelsea and Tyara from The Netherlands. We have recently received our Bachelor's degree of Science after graduating from university where we studied Applied Biology. At university we quickly became best friends and have been for over four years now. During our years at uni, we discovered that we both have lots of similar passions! We have loved learning about nature and have an especially big love for animals.

We had the best time of our lives when we did an internship in the Amazon of Peru taking care of rescued animals for 2 1/2 months. We learned so much during that time and can't wait to have more amazing experiences whilst traveling. Besides Peru, we have traveled to 4 different countries together, including Belgium, Germany, Spain and Greece. As our passions are so similar, we are the perfect travel buddies for each other :)

Chelsea loves photography and is learning more about videography. She enjoys spending her free time playing the guitar, walking her dog, drawing or reading.

Tyara likes to spend time with family and friends, playing board games and video games. She also loves to read, walk through nature, practice her Spanish and she plays the keyboard.

Our biggest dream is to travel the world and see all that the world has to offer. We would love to learn more about different cultures, foods, languages and of course the flora and fauna. You only live once and we believe in making the most of it!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As we both studied Applied Biology, we have a wide knowledge of plants, animals and nature in general.

Chelsea is a very hard worker and is always eager to learn new things. She is super motivated and is not afraid of any challenge. She is also great at problem-solving and has a lot of attention to detail.

Chelsea has experience working with and researching farm animals. She did an internship at national park where she gained a lot of knowledge about forests and the animals and plants they can contain.

Tyara is the definition of a social butterfly and can get along with anyone. She is a great presenter and can deliver any message with passion. She has a super positive mindset and she will always look on the bright side.

Tyara has experience in researching birds and bats through her job and has volunteered at an animal shelter among other things. She also has been working with elderly people and kids for quite a while.

We both have experience in working with (semi-)wild animals. This includes handling them, feeding them (as well as foraging and preparing the food), safely cleaning enclosures, monitoring their behavior, helping with medical procedures and releasing them.

We also both have experience with horseback riding and dogsitting. We can speak Dutch and English fluently. Tyara is an intermediate Spanish speaker and Chelsea is a beginner. We can also understand German and speak it well enough.
