Bonjour!
Je m’appelle Charlotte et j'ai 21 ans. Depuis toute petite, je rêve de pouvoir vivre de façon nomade et de découvrir le monde, ce qui m’a donc amené au backpacking.
Je parle français (langue maternelle), anglais et espagnol. Mon voyage le plus récent était en Équateur où j’ai backpack durant quelques mois en faisant du bénévolat dans des auberges et autres.
Je prévois de repartir voyager en Amérique centrale et du Sud sous peu afin de perfectionner mon espagnol et je souhaite donc pouvoir voyager au travers de Workaway.
Je suis une personne sociable, créative et curieuse qui a de la facilité à prendre de l’initiative et qui a un esprit très rassembleur.

My name is Charlotte and I'm 21 years old. Since I was little, I have dreamed of living a nomadic life and discovering the world, which led me to backpacking.
I speak French (my native language), English, and Spanish. My most recent trip was to Ecuador where I backpacked for a few months while volunteering in hostels and other places.
I plan to travel to Central and South America soon to improve my Spanish, and I would like to travel through Workaway.
I am a sociable, creative, and curious person who easily takes initiative and has a very unifying spirit.
I look forward to meeting you and experiencing new adventures!

I can teach French and English (all levels) and basics in Spanish. I would love to practice my Spanish furthermore in order to become fluent and I would like to start learning Portuguese as well as Sign Language.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Teaching:
I have experience tutoring children and teens; my tasks were to help with homework and general understanding of class material in different subjects such as French (for all levels), English (all levels), Spanish (beginners) and History. I also taught French and English to adults during some of my trips by preparing personalized lessons for the individual's level. Finally, I have experience in helping with writing and correcting texts of all types (essays, motivation letters, resumes, etc.).
Service, food and drinks industry, hotel industry:
I have been working as a server and bartender for nearly 3 years now. I have worked in a multitude of establishments such as neighborhood bars, small hostels, clubs and luxury hotels. I am familiar with all positions in the food and drinks industry as I started as a busgirl and gradually moved all the way to managing.
Artistic fields:
I love painting, drawing, crocheting, and letting my creativity run free overall! I am great at imagining and putting into motion new artistic projects of all sorts! I have a certification in artistic, theatrical, bridal, editorial and beauty make-up, which allowed me to work as a make-up artist on fashion runways, photoshoots, student projects and promotional shoots for small businesses.
Volunteering:
I volunteered in different hostels (these opportunities were found either on workaway or worldpackers, but mostly through word of mouth and friends I met on the road), which I really enjoyed as I love organizing fun activities for the guests and workers/volunteers. I also volunteered with associations based in Montreal where I helped with different tasks cleaning public areas and collecting donations.

Although I have no former training, I am able to teach the basics of surf. I currently am training in Tae Kwondo, I love dancing and learning new ways to move (I really want to learn salsa!!) and I enjoy trekking as well!
