Hi I’m Robert. 60 years old. I’ve been a classical musician and professor of Cello all my life until a hand injury last year. I’m taking some time for myself just now to explore new skills and possibilities. I’m fit and healthy ( usually running 30-40km a week) and strong enough for most tasks. I have some limited experience with more practical things. Many years ago we spent a few years raising our own pigs, chickens, geese and growing fields of vegetables. Building fences and the like. I have 3 grown up children and a grandson who all live in Scandinavia. I have an Irish passport so am free to be in Europe as long as I want! I read and play some cello still for my own pleasure. I’m a good cook ( can be everything from vegan to meat!) and can clean houses fine too! I’m flexible and willing to put in hard work.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Music! Any physical tasks. Some small farming skills ( I can be directed!) cooking. Cleaning. Driving license. Really good with children and young people. Have worked a lot with people of special needs. Worked a lot with elderly people. Cared for disabled brother- in - law. Table tennis. Bad chess player. Through music projects I’ve been very lucky to work with many disadvantaged people in prisons, addiction centres, care homes, schools and day centres. I’ve also taught and guided students through Batchelor, masters and PhD over 35 years. I’m ready to turn my hand to anything. I can fly fish for wild trout pretty well too. I’m currently based in my small house on a beach in the Hebrides of Scotland and am quite good at clearing streams and looking after water systems!

Spending some time supporting childcare from time to time in Sweden with my grandson. (6 years old)
Hoping to spend time dropping by to visit my grown up kids in Denmark and Sweden. I like board games. Listen to music. Read and write poetry. Play my cello. Love Bach Beethoven and Brahms. Love old jazz. Love food. Like red wine and excellent food. Running in forests and on beaches. Like conversation and company but happy alone too.
