Hey there! My names Cassie and I will be travelling throughout Africa from August to October 2025!
A little about me, in 2023, me and my now husband travelled Europe for 13 months, using workaway to meet new people, try new things and explore the adventure way.
2024 saw us back at home, a regional place called Darwin, in Australia and 2025 is the year of our wedding and for me to continue travelling to all parts of the world.
At home we have two spoodles (cockapoo) called Benji and Loorah, whom my husband will be looking after while I gallivant Africa.
My goal is to spend 2 weeks helping at an African school day care, or community organisation so if you have the space and availability, please reach out!

I have worked in Admin for the past 8 years completing a variety of large projects and have done a range of work in the Retail and Hospitality space in supervisor and management roles.
I am a resilient person, who love setting goals for myself and have become very into fitness and health in the last couple of year. I love to learn how other people live and work and want to experience it first hand for myself as I prefer this than being in a big city.
In 2023, I travelled with my (now) husband and did a variety of tasks (see below) however for my Africa trip I am looking at teaching and spending time with kids to help in communities - whether thats with learning english, playing sports or helping them with daily tasks. I am very passionate, want to help anywhere I can and give all the love and cuddles in the world!!
2023 task list:
- rendering outside walls
- teaching English
- chopping firewood both with a chainsaw, axe, wood cutting machine and a chipper
- building rock walls around garden edges
- clearing fields to allow them to be ready for planting or harvesting
- feeding and taking care of a lot of animals including horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs!
- learning about permaculture and assisting in the garden
- painting
- dog walking
- child minding

Was noch ...
I am not a party person and love a good night at home, watching tv however I do love a nice dance and a drink with friends every once in a while. I love playing board and card games and , love to exercise and when we have the chance, love to go exploring, hiking and completing walking trails.

They helped us a lot with removing wallpaper (in super speed), planting tulips, feeding animals, restoring horse arena, ect. they can do any job I'm sure !
