Hi. I’m Caitlin and I am a ‘mature’ Workawayer (they are rather diplomatic on the site! I am however fit, healthy and not afraid of some hard work and have a sense of humour. My background is in TV but I am studying to be a human/equine/canine sports massage therapist and yoga teacher. I am looking for a Workaway where I get plenty of time with horses and dogs and where going to my course one weekend a month isn’t a problem and I can study some in the evenings. I’ve owned my own horses, worked on a dressage yard and am competent In a variety of equestrian environments. I enjoy cooking and baking, hope I am good company and have lots of media skills if they are of any use. I speak some Italian if anyone fancies practicing that. I come with good references and can bring my own vehicle so that I can get about. I am looking for a friendly, caring place to be where the animals are well loved and cared for and my hosts communicate well and are happy for me to ride quite a lot if I am considered sufficiently competent. I also enjoy cycling, scuba diving, kitesurfing, yoga classes, gardening, reading, cinema, theatre, photography/film making, mountain biking - you name it I’m pretty game.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am usually a journalist and filmmaker but would love to spend some time working with horses and learning more and improving my riding. I am a reasonable leisure rider and I have years of experience of owning my own horses but I am not an equestrian professional and there is a great deal I could still learn. as well as working with any sort of animals I can also help with social media, websites and so on.

Was noch ...

I am a harpist but it’s not the most portable instrument . Generally I just love being outside and have found working from home really claustrophobic! I enjoy most all music, especially if live I really enjoy cooking especially vegetarian and Thai food and I also do Astanga yoga which I qualified to teach some years ago but haven’t really used. Anyone willing to be a sports massage practice client would be great!
