Heeey!!! I'm Cat, and I’m excited to meet new people and have new experiences! I’m passionate about gaining new skills, building friendships, discovering fresh interests, and making lasting memories through workawaying. Nature and the outdoors are where I feel most at home, and being part of a team or community with like-minded people is truly my idea of a dream come true.

I just graduated last year, so it’s finally time to stop scrolling and start reaching out to these amazing opportunities! I’m a creative and practical person, always up for anything and I’m currently looking for a workaway in March.

I have previous workaway experiences, after a road trip in the USA last year. During those, I helped on 4 different workaways with general maintenance around the houses, lots of gardening, and also pet sitting. Before that, I had the wonderful opportunity to look after 3 children in Romania. In addition, I’ve worked in hospitality for the past 6 years, and this years, I’d love to experience hostel life as a workawayer. That said, I also truly enjoy the peace of staying with one or two people and getting to know them while offering help in whatever way they need.

I can’t wait to see what happens next :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have skills in community engagement as I spent time as a volunteer at a community garden centre last year which was wonderful and therefore, I also have some basic gardening skills as well!

I have always been a creative person, and I have many years of experience with art projects including mural work, I'm especially passionate about fine art!

I have years of customer service and hospitality experience as I've worked in a variety of cafes, some bars and some housekeeping experience as well :)

I have experience with babysitting working with ages 2-6 so far!!

I have always loved being outdoors and learning about nature and whilst I love working with others I am equally content working on my own!

I'm currently interested in working eventually in the Live Events industry, (Specifically Festivals!) and or manage travel excursions as I love being organised and being a part of memorable experiences, so any extra hands needed for events I am there! Or any advice for getting started would be so appreciated.

Was noch ...

I grew up in the Lake District and just moved back after 3 years in London :) I miss the social aspect of the city but I am grateful for the nature here. I am always torn between nature vs city but i know there are places out there with a balance of both I just have to go and find them
