Hello,

I am Carina, a 30 years old german woman who is super excited for her next workaway experience.
Right now I'm on a journey to learn new things and skills but also to learn more about me.
The good thing about it: I'm open for everything.
I have planned to make some experiences with workaway for the next months, so I don't know where I'll be next.
For the moment I am in Galicia. Since I am travelling with my Mini Camper, I am really flexible and I can reach even the smallest villages. I love the freedom my car gives me.


But I have a goal for the next months. I really wish to improve my Spanish and I would like to work at least one time on a farm to get in touch with sustainable projects and gardening. In my opinion you need a goal in your life. One day I would like to own a really small house and of course a garden where I can grow my own fruits and vegetables. Therefore the first step would be: learn how to grow vegetables and how to keep them alive! ;)

In the past years I've worked in tourism and I've lived in Spain for a few summers. I enjoy to live in the sun and especially I am addicted to the Spanish way of life!
I'm really passionated in cooking and baking (especially vegan). I'm not 100% vegan, but I would say I am conscious about what I eat. In addition I'm a dog lover who is also interested in practicing and at the same time improving my yoga and meditation skills. I love hiking, swimming and riding my bicycle - all in all I love to be in the nature.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

After school I have spent one year in the USA working as an Au-Pair. With that kind of experience I have not only expanded my skills in taking care of children but I also became open-minded in travelling the world.
In the following years I have spent some seasons in Spain working in tourism. Living in Spain helped me to improve my Spanish and to communicate in that language.
In my free time I love to host friends at my home. I really like to try out new recipes in my kitchen and to experience with vegan dishes.
When Covid started I needed to find a place to work. So I searched in a different sector because my intention was to help people. I ended up working in care service where I looked after old people. I'm really thankful for this kind of experience because I have learned a lot about myself.
