Thanks in advance for reading me.
To introduce myself in a few words, I'm an open-minded and grateful soul who loves Nature, Art (Music & Silence), Travelling and Embracing the Adventure of Life.
I also love meditating, writing songs, reading, crafting, drawing, exchanging, learning new languages and discovering cultures.
I'm very curious and enthusiast about life as I do feel that everything is the opportunity to learn and to grow. To embrace myself and this world.
I also love cultivating gratitude and doing my best in everything I do.
I hope that I will always leave a positive impact wherever I am.

Dear Future Host,

I love doing my best in every task I am given, with care and enthusiasm. I am curious in learning about your culture and language, as well as I can teach (french language, art, meditation...).
Actually, I love creating in so many ways (songs, drawing, taking pictures, writing) and I deeply Love Nature.
I feel that, by observing Nature and cherishing it, we learn so many lessons of life. It's a treasure beyond words.

I love exchanging and contributing to community life and beautiful projects.
I can also cook, do manual tasks, garden...

Actually, I'm very opened to adapt and do various tasks that can be helpful as I'm aware that the needs might evolve according to the seasons of the year.

The most important for me is to immerge myself into your precious culture, to bring a beautiful energy to the community / family, to contribute and to learn with an open mind and heart.

Among the very important things that I want to do in South Korea: practicing korean language, embracing fully Korean culture, deepening my practice of meditation into the present moment.
I feel that this trip is very meaningful for me and I thank you so much for your kindness and your reading.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Learn meditation and help us ...)

My heart is deeply immersed in gratitude towards Buddha Meditation Center community, including all the wonderful Sunims (Masters/Monks), marvellous Haengjanims (students destined to be Sunims) the genuine meditants and the kind volunteers. I feel touched as I write those words...

Being into that place was what I needed to experience. Deeply.… read more Truly. I could sense a great balance between the precious time with other members of the community and the time with myself. The time to integrate, to meditate, to breathe into my daily actions, to draw, to write... I valued each minute I could spend in that blessed place.

I was very moved by the kindness, the simplicity, the humility and genuine compassion of the Sunims, Haengjanims, meditants and volunteers.
I felt deeply embraced for who I am, without any judgment. There was no expectation towards me... just to be me, into the present moment. What a wonderful gift and feeling it is... I genuinely wish that everyone can experiment it.

As I felt embraced by the wonderful Sunims and Haengjanims, I could work every day with happiness while deepening my awareness in my daily tasks, during the moments of tea time (I loved so much the teachings, energy and pedagogy of Hye Wol Sunim!), and meditation.
I appreciated much the Anapanasati technique that was taught. In simplicity lies the greatest depth and work. This tool is very helpful for life to come back into center, in the present moment.

I also loved so much the yoga course offered by our precious "cooking sunim" (as volunteers fondly say). I could see my body and mind evolve every week and I'm so grateful for those wonderful courses! Body and mind come together. The 108 bows also do help much to feel united and I really encourage each volunteer to deeply dive into that experience. This is the perfect opportunity to do so! :)

Let's talk about volunteering work: I must say that I enjoyed so much working in the kitchen! There, I could feel at home, in the "right place". A place I could contribute, be given clear tasks, keep growing, and also learn how to surrender while deepening self-confidence too. I loved so much all the tasks given to me and being in contact with this sacred offering food which was so Delicious and Nutritive for our Precious Body (which is in itself our first temple, in my perspective).
I felt that my awareness deepened much during those time of volunteering... Meditation can be everywhere, as well as insights.

When I felt self-doubts towards my work and myself, I could open my heart and talk it out with honesty and vulnerability as I felt safe to do so. I felt very touched by the way the precious Cooking Sunim and all the very kind Sunims and Haengjanims always answered me with great care, patience and kindness. I came to understand that I was cherished the way I am, and that everyone trusted me without any pressure. With kindness and gentleness.
The way I was treated has allowed me to be kinder and more gentle towards myself. Indeed, feeling unconditional love, acceptance and compassion from Sunims & Haengjanims healed me and encouraged me to do so too.

I met so many wonderful people and great friends in Buddha Meditation Center. Each being met there is always here in my heart.
I must say that being in this place during winter and witnessing the Snow (my favorite weather) was Magic! This place, surrounded with mountains, is very beautiful. The more you stay there, the more you get to see the detail and the beauty. Just open your eyes and heart, with gratitude. :)

Dear Buddha Meditation Center, Thank you so Much for all your teachings and love that you showered me with. I do my best to keep watering the seeds that were given to me. Thank you to Buddha and the Temples too. :)

Dear Workawayer, I wish you to enjoy your stay here, and to embrace fully that experience at a spiritual level. According to me, it is not a "classic workaway" place even if it does respect the schedule. It is a sacred workaway place in which you can find keys to peace and healing, into your present moment.

I had the blessing to be embraced in here, through this precious workaway experience. I spent 1 month there: this month went fast and at the same time, I did more in one month that I could do in many months elsewhere. This is the sign of a great gift which is offered there.
