I have returned home to Australia and looking forward to my next overseas travels with workaways next year.

Beschreibung

What motivates me the most in life is having opportunities of adventure, discovery and personal growth - for me travel does just that! I love learning new things and I am always up for being taught new skills, languages, culture and listening to other people's stories. We all have a story and I love to interact with new people from all backgrounds.
I am a highly creative individual, I have studied fashion design, interior design and most recently Graphic design. I love to paint, draw, lino cut, lithography, ceramic, textile design, tufting and digital design - you name it I want to learn all arts or crafts from any culture. My passion is to bake - I have a rather sweet tooth and can easily whip up cakes , cookies and bread. I have been working as a baker in Australia with cookies being my primary role. I have worked in so many different fields and a "Jack of all trades and a Master of none"! Cooking is what brings me a lot of joy and satisfaction in life. I love doing DIY jobs, and to learn a new trade if the teacher is willing.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My last job in Australia was at a bakery in the city center - I made all the cookies and crackers among other specialty items. I have worked in commercial kitchens over the past 5 years and a whiz in the kitchen! Cooking and baking for others is something I love to do, food always tastes better when someone cooks for you and it's a way I show love through cooking.

I have worked as a nanny, Au pair and childminder all over the world over the past 15 years - I love working with children, nurturing gifts and being creative. I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge/skills with kids - we can all learn from children as well.

As I am a creative individual I always have many creative projects I am working on. Art is something I use as a way to meditate and would love to explore oil painting. I get most enjoyment from drawing, lino printing, using my hands to create textiles and really just to play around with different textural mediums. I love to learn new arts and crafts. Pottery is something I would love to explore more.

Most recently I have been working on Interior design projects to add to my portfolio so if you have any home renovations or projects you need drawn up or brought to life with perspective drawings I am your gal! I taught myself to use Sketch up and can use Revit as well as AutoCAD. In addition to these programs I know my way around the Creative Cloud - Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. I am still studying Graphic Design when I am not travelling and love to mesh all my skills together to create digital art.

As previously mentioned I am a "jack of all trades and a Master of none". :)

Was noch ...

I love board games and any activities to stretch the brain. I have tried to learn knitting and crochet but need to improve. I am always open to learning.
