Hi !!
My name is Bélissende, I am 20 years old and French-Canadian. A true adventurer at heart, I dream of discovering the world in a different way—through authentic experiences, meaningful human connections, and immersion in local cultures. This will be my first big trip, and I am currently taking a gap year.

My main goal is to improve my English through full immersion 🙂

I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone, embracing change, and taking on new challenges. I am passionate about nature, hiking, and outdoor and sports activities. I love breaking out of my routine and learning new things.

French is my mother tongue, and I am eager to improve my English through daily practice. Even if I can be a little shy at first, I am curious, motivated, and always willing to learn.

I would like to improve my English in order to speak it fluently. So far, I haven’t really had the opportunity to practice English outside of my classes, and immersion seems to me to be the best way to make progress. I am highly motivated to practice on a daily basis, to learn through conversations, and to gain confidence when speaking. Sharing my own language does not bother me at all—on the contrary, I would be happy to help someone learn or improve their French. I enjoy exchanging, correcting when needed, and learning together in a kind and friendly atmosphere.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Je suis une personne polyvalente et adaptable. J’ai grandi à la campagne, entourée d’animaux, ce qui m’a permis de développer très tôt des bases solides dans le travail exterieur et le soin des animaux.

J’ai principalement de l’expérience avec les vaches, mais j’ai également travaillé avec des cochons et des chevaux. J’ai effectué un an de volontariat dans un haras, où mes tâches comprenaient le nettoyage des box, la préparation des chevaux (monture) ainsi que la participation à quelques cours d’équitation, à cru et à selle.

J’ai aussi la main verte : j’aime le jardinage et je suis à l’aise avec l’entretien des espaces verts.
De plus, je sais cuisiner et j’apprécie préparer des repas simples.

J’ai de nombreux centres d’intérêt et je suis naturellement curieuse. J’aime beaucoup la lecture et le sport — j’ai pratiqué l’athlétisme, mais je m’intéresse à tous les sports et j’aime en découvrir de nouveaux.

Je suis passionnée par la photographie et la cinématographie, que j’utilise comme moyens d’expression et de découverte du monde.
La musique occupe aussi une place très importante dans ma vie : je suis musicienne, harpiste, et je pratique également un peu le piano.

Depuis mon enfance, je suis particulièrement attirée par l’Ouest américain. J’adore l’univers des films western, et des lieux comme les Rocheuses et Yellowstone font partie des endroits que je rêve absolument de découvrir au cours de mon voyage.
