Hello! Hola!

My name is Alicia and my husband is Jason. We are 43 & 44yrs, happily married for 23yrs and have two grown successful sons. Our lives have been full and exciting with raising our children, successful careers, a very active outdoorsy lifestyle and adventurous travel. We love being outdoors!

Our love of travel and passion for horses is leading us into our next big decision and adventure. We are stepping away from our careers to explore other cultures and discover other opportunities in life; especially a future that would include horses.

I have always been obsessed with horses and I have had many wonderful opportunities to ride and train on others' horses; with many years of hunter jumper, cross country, polo lessons and endurance. Jason and I have enjoyed many extended riding/trekking vacations as well.

Now, after raising 2 successful young men, it is finally the right time for us to act on our dreams of travel and then horse ownership. We are contemplating to not return to our 'desk jobs' and instead, follow our passion and establish a horse related business. Whether it's for work or solely for pleasure, horses are definitely in our future!!

*** Updates:
We have completed three equestrian WorkAways so far and continue to look for new interesting opportunities.
In Uruguay we assisted with a trail riding operation, in Australia we worked at a Thoroughbred racing stable and in Argentina we worked with Arabian endurance horses.
*In Argentina, Alicia trained and exercised Arabian endurance horses in preparation for the 2023 Panamerican Olympics. Jason also rode on occasion, but also helped repairs and construction projects around the property. We proudly worked as crew members supporting the rider during the race which was held Chile in November 2023. *

I have several years of formal riding instruction and consider myself a confident rider. With the numerous equestrian vacations throughout the years, Jason has become an excellent & confident rider as well.

We have completed two equestrian WorkAways so far and continue to look for new interesting opportunities.


Jason is very experienced with all aspects of construction, repairs & maintenance, power tools, etc. We are both very hard working and have remodeled 4 of our homes ourselves. We are experienced with landscape work and always enjoyed improving our property. We make a good team!

I do have a good grasp on Spanish, but I am not fluent (yet). I am really looking forward to practicing and an opportunity for immersion! I am highly motivated and really want to become fluent.

We are both working professionals. Jason is experienced with sales and project management within the flooring and construction industry. My career in finance is focused on lending and credit risk while representing one of the top US banks as a sales representative.
