Hi! My name is Basia, I am from Poland and from the very early age thanks to my parents I fell in love with travelling. Now I am looking for opportunities to not only explore new places, but also to meet new people, learn new things, develop myself and, most important, be able to help others. I am a very active person, I love spending time in nature and enjoy different types of sport, especially cycling, running, climbing and hiking in the mountains. I also love learning new languages, I speak fluently Spanish, German and English and would love to learn some Italian. I am currently finishing my 3rd year of BA in English Philology with German and work as an online teacher of English and Polish for foreigners. Teaching and working with children definitely bring me joy, before I have also worked in a kindergarten teaching English and Spanish, as a summer camp counsellor and on the climbing wall organizing birthday parties for children. Now I really appreciate my remote work as it enables me to travel a lot and apart from private trips and visiting friends in different countries I have also participated in several Erasmus+ projects where I could expand my knowledge on different topics like ecology or cultural diversity. In high school I also used to work as a volunteer in an animal shelter, then volunteered as a person walking neighbours’' dogs during the Covid pandemics and also own one wonderful dog, so I have some experience with caring for them. In my free time I also read a lot of books, do yoga and go camping and hitch-hiking. In general I am a very open-minded, always smiling person, not afraid of trying new things and always ready for new adventures. After finishing my BA in July I am going on a volunteer mission to Peru and after that since October I am interested in some close-to-nature volunteer work, possibly with animals or children.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- I have a lot of experience with teaching English, Spanish, German and Polish and currently I am finishing studies in this field, so I can very willingly help with improving language skills
- I have experience with working with children not only teaching them, but also working in the kindergarden, as a summer camps counsellor and on the climbing wall
- I love spending time with different animals, especially dogs, I used to work as a volunteer in an animal shelter and definitely enjoy caring for them
- I am very active and in good health contidion so I am not afraid of some physical work, cleaning, etc
- In general I try to do my best end enjoy everything I do so I am very open to learning new skills
