Hey!
We are Aurora and Michael, an Italian couple who have been together for four years. We are about to embark on an exciting new adventure. We come from small country towns in Italy, but we decided to turn our lives upside down, leave our home country, and move to Australia. We have been here in Australia for almost 7 months now.
Together, we’ve traveled across Europe and Asia, sharing our love for discovering new cultures, places, and people from all over the world. Although we are very different individuals, we complement each other perfectly and are incredibly close. We approach life with a smile and simplicity, and we share many common interests.

Let’s get to know a bit more about us:

Hi everyone!
I'm Aurora, 26 years old. I'm a veterinary technician, and I've recently graduated in wildlife conservation, which is my true passion. During my studies, I took part in several Erasmus+ programs in France, Malta, and spent six months in Estonia.
Two years ago, I had my first Workaway experience on a farm in Oregon, USA, and it was an unforgettable experience that I will always cherish. I have lived abroad for several months, and these experiences have taught me that home is not just a place, but also a feeling. Every person I've met along the way has taught me something valuable and has made me a better person.
I'm a bubbly and curious person, always ready to jump in new adventures.
Since moving to Australia, I’ve become deeply passionate about photographing the local wildlife, and I dream of soon starting my own science communication page where I can connect all my passions. I still have so much to learn, but every shot fills me with immense joy. In my free time, I also enjoy reading, painting, do yoga, camping, scuba diving, and hiking in forests, mountains and beaches, immersed in nature.

I'm Michael, 30 years old. I have a background in agricultural studies, and my strong interest in plants and animals led me to specialize in environmental and land care and management. Throughout my career, I've held various jobs, including metal worker, fruit vendor, highway greenery manager, gardener, and dairy worker.
I consider myself a determined and patient person; I enjoy interacting with people because I find it fascinating to hear about their lives and experiences. Since I was young, I’ve participated in summer camps organized by my parish, where I discovered the joy of making people laugh and being playful, keeping a childlike spirit. At the same time, I value spending time alone, reflecting on different topics, which is very important to me.

We have both graduate from the Agricultural high school and we have several skills In this field, from farming to animal care.
Aurora has also completed a traineeship in a wildlife rescue facility and volunteer work in an Italian sea turtle recovery center.
Michael is a plants and flowers lover.
We occasionally enjoy splitting the wood together for the winter.
We are responsible, proactive and we have initiative.

Aurora likes cooking and she enjoys experimenting with new cuisines. She would like to learn how to prepare foods from other nations.
We like fitness, outdoors activities, extreme sports (Aurora) and at the same time we love doing meditation.
Our dream is to be able to buy a van and go on a trip to multiple states of the world , living in the moment.
We enjoy living simply and in a sustainable way, and eventually we'd like to move into a tiny house.
