Hello family, i am traveling more than two years now, gained so many skills along the way, I am happiest in natural landscapes and I enjoy physical work - connecting with earth and getting dirt under my fingernails. My spare time is filled with creativity and colour.
Update: Finally i am at the stage to start our own eco-living scuba space. If you have any interest or experience, lets chat.

The food was so right and powerfull for the work.

I had wonderful time with Harry, Miki and Ryan. Great hosts and very productive team.
Work is easy once you learn the routine and schedules are well organised so you have plenty time to explore or chill.
Great opportunity to meet other travellers and other volunteers.

Vom Workawayer (AshTheBash) für Host (Join us and experience ...)

I couldn't pick any better hosts then Lee&Jeff for my first volunteering, they are so knowledgeable and caring.
So i was aiming for Tioman island and went to Mersing day early to make sure i am on the ferry next morning so got up approaching to the ferry counter then personel lady the put the sign up for the cancellation 5days. I have called… read more checked with them the day before and it was fine so she tells me its waves that ferry cant operate.
Then i contacted Jeff, who was accepting me that day. I told the situation, and he acted immediately, asked me if i wanted to help his partner (childhood friend) Lee back in Kuala Lumpur till the ferry runs again.
So thats how i met Dear Lee and spend 18 interesting, skilful, cultural and wonderful days.
Lee has a great young spirit and loves to keep himself bussy at most of the day and he never runs out of tasks.
Took me 3 days to adopt his pace and we started to click.
He is turning his scrape yard in to a urban farm, so the combination was amazing.. he has so many chikens (jungle ones are so cool), 4 goats, 2 dogs, and some cats..
So our first task was to build a nice and secure chicken house with all the recycled materials such as zing, iron bars, and fishing nets. The project was fun and made me gain a lot of skills.
We worked early morning, rested at noon or heavy rains, then carried on at the afternoon for a few more hours. Lee makes sure that you are not over working and your safety is his priority, so that feels very good for a first-timer like me.
The second project was gardening for the beloved chiken gang, so we picked up the unwanted roots and replaced them with banana trees so chikens were protected from above and got lots of shade.
Other then these two main projects, we did bits and pieces here and there like cut grass for the goats, drive to different warehouses or deliver some goods for his friends and its always very interesting and fulfilling conversations with Lee about life itself, world opinions and local information on culture and nature.

Ok, now the food. First thing he asked me was that if i had any special requirements for eating and i bleave, i gave the best answer by saying, "In Asia, for the first time, so i eat anything." So he took my all the different local food courts, and special Malay,Chinese, Indian,Indonesian and Thai food stoles and tested my limits and he was amazed how i liked all and had a clean plate at the end..

I can not appreciate enough for Lee's hospitality and the knowledge he gave me about this part of the world.
Also, i still have an opportunity to meet Lee&Jeff on Tioman Island, and i will certainly do. I bleave. i made a lifelong friends and i wouldn't hesitate to jump on any projects with them.
