Beschreibung

My name is Annika, I am 27 years old and I am originally from Germany, but I have lived in Denmark for around 11 years now (and half a year in norway). I decided to move there on my own at a young age and fell in love with the country.

I am in my masters as a structural engineer. I have done some project leading on construction sites for 8 month within tunnel construction and building an Island in Copenhagen.

As a workawayer I have done:
- Iceland: horseback riding and stablework (sheep and horses)
- Faroe Islands: Renovating a house (renewing the primary structure, isolating, tearing down, etc.)
- Norway: Renovating a house (painting, installing floor, building cupboards, shelves, etc.)

Some of my other work experiences:
- Project leading on construction sites (Denmark)
- Receptionist on a camp site (Denmark)
- Riding instructor and leader of riding camps for children (Germany and Denmark)
- Kitesurf instructor on kitesurf camps (Denmark)

During the workaways doing renovation I have learned a lot new skills. I really enjoy the practical work and the creative process of finding good solutions. Of course there is still a lot i havent tried within renovating, but I am a quick learner and not afraid to ask.

Also I like to make different kind of drawings, which resulted in all of my surf boards being covered in them.


When I am not working I have a big passion for outdoor activities like kitesurfing, climbing, hiking, snowboarding...

Right now I am holding the title as danish champion in kitesurfing and enjoy going climbing in Sweden in windless periods.
