Hi!

We are a small family consisting of Anna (Danish, 30), Milan (Hungarian, 35), and little Vivi, who is almost two years old. We are at a crossroad in our lives and are looking for clarity about our next step. We are longing for a life where there is more time for what truly matters — a life outdoors, with warmth, love, and immersion. We would love to help with childcare and play, practical work inside as well as outside.
For a long time we have dreamed of moving to Italy, but we still lack answers about whether a self-sufficient off-grid life is really what we are looking for. We also wish to homeschool our daughter. Therefore, we are looking for experiences that can help us gain clarity and where we can try, hands-on, how such a life can be lived in practice and how the systems work.

As people, we are curious and creative.

Anna is educated as a Waldorf preschool teacher and enjoys sewing, felting, singing, and storytelling. She is currently not working, as she is at home with Vivi and has stopped believing in institutional childcare. She can help with practical work, cooking, children’s activities, and babysitting. She would love to learn about growing vegetables and collecting herbs in the forest, and she would also love to learn some Italian.

Milan runs his own online Lego store from home where he sells individual parts. In addition, he is a trained landscape architect and a huge map nerd. He also has painting skills (artistic) and is very good with his hands. He has many years of experience with gardening and construction. He was a self-employed gardener for a long time and spent the last 5 years renovating our house. Therefore many practical tasks suit him well. He is very interested in Italian food, culture, and language and wants to learn everything that comes with real work and practical knowledge.

Vivi is a curious little curly-haired girl. She is creative and very thoughtful. She loves to dive into focused play and music. It would be wonderful to find a family with other little ones for her to play with.

We are excited to find the right match and hope to help and enjoy meaningful visits.

Anna
- cooking, fermenting and baking

Milan is interested outdoor life especially mountain biking and hiking. He loves to read articles about economics, geopolitics and anthropology. He would love to understand more about entrepreneurship in Italy.
