Beschreibung

Hello, my name is Anna and I’m from the Czech Republic, a small and beautiful country in the heart of Europe. Back home I work as a civil engineer, but I also love spending time outdoors and being active. I enjoy yoga, hiking, long walks and I’m always looking for ways to be more creative.

Last year I spent fifteen months in New Zealand, where I mostly worked on orchards. I really loved the lifestyle there and the chance to live close to nature and learn new practical skills.

I’m curious, open-minded and I truly enjoy learning new things and discovering different cultures. I’m friendly, positive and easy to get along with, and I’m also quite handy and not afraid of physical work. Most of my work experience has been in an office in front of a computer, so I’m excited to learn more practical, hands-on skills outdoors. I like being helpful and contributing to a place where I stay, and I’m excited to continue this journey through Workaway.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have experience working on orchards, where I was pruning trees, picking fruit and fertilising plants. I also drove a tractor on a hops farm, which was a great hands-on experience that I really enjoyed.

During my studies I worked at Subway (restaurant with sandwiches) as a shift supervisor, where I was responsible for running the restaurant during my shifts, coordinating staff and making sure everything ran smoothly.

After finishing my studies, I started working in my field as a civil engineer in an architecture studio, where I worked on technical drawings and project documentation. This helped me develop strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
