Beschreibung

Hi, I’m Angie from Quebec. I’m 23 years old and I finished my studies in Natural Environment, specializing in Wildlife Conservation, this year.
So here I am, Central America, to discover this beautiful part of the world, learn to surf, and explore as much as I can!

I’m an outdoorsy person who love physical and intense activities (like surfing or field work). I’m not afraid of getting scratched or dirty (more I'm dirty, more I'm happy)! I’m quite sociable and have no trouble making new friends. I have multiples outdoor working experiences - I worked in wildlife research with my school and the University of Alberta, fighted forest fire, worked in forestry, in trail building for mountain bike, etc.. In term of volunteering, I worked in farms (wwoofing), in days camp and I was in charge of the outdoor club of my college.

My goal with Workaway is to explore the world but in a meaningful way. I really want to connect with families and local communities in a way to learn things in my area of interest— I’d love to learn permaculture and sustainable construction in the mean time of developing my spanish. I have strong ecological values as well as animal care, so I’m definitely looking for eco-friendly Workaway opportunities. Having the heart of a child, I like children and have no problem passing a lot of time with them.

I speaks French (first language), English and Spanish.

I think teaching a language could be a very interesting experience and I would be happy to share my language with locals ! I'm motivated to learn Spanish as well. I like learning being in contact with people, by creating connexions with them.
