Hello, We’re Alexandra (Australian) and Abdallah (Moroccan), a married couple who have been living in Morocco for more three years.

Alexandra is a Project Manager who has also volunteered as an English Teacher and tutor in both Morocco and Australia. She loves reading, writing, living sustainably, cups of tea, and meeting new people.

Abdallah is an Optometrist who speaks 4 languages (Arabic, French, German, and English). He loves poetry, politics, and discussing societal/cultural differences. For years he organized Workaways in Morocco where foreigners would come and provide extra language classes for underprivileged children. It's time for him to experience Workaway from the other side.

We will be in Europe for approximately one month during July and August and would love to meet new people and help out wherever we can around the house, garden, community centres, or with children.

We both have experience with kids: Alexandra through babysitting in her teenage years, and Abdallah through volunteering as a summer camp leader and other community organizations for many years. Abdallah is also a very good cook of Moroccan meals.

We’re both very kind hearted, easy going, and active. Plus, we’re always up for a chat about life, culture, philosophy, or anything else that comes up. We’re keen to get the most out of our travel experiences, and would love to connect with locals where possible.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Alex is a native English speaker with experience teaching English to adults and children in both Morocco and Australia. She has also worked as a freelance editor and has experience writing blogs on sustainable living. Aside from this, she is generally very organized and can help with anything administrative.

Abdallah speaks four languages (Arabic, French, English, and German). He is also a qualified camp leader, having led many summer camps for children aged 6-11 around Morocco. He is also naturally resourceful at fixing things around the house, and enjoys the challenge of this. Last but not least, he is a great cook.
