My name is Alana :) I am 26, living just outside London and working in the city.

What motivates me is my eagerness to learn from and help others. More specifically, I am keen to know more about the culture of my own heritage. I wish to use my own skills and time to teach others, whilst also being immersed in their own place and people.
It would bring me great happiness to know that I have helped make a difference in someone's educational journey.

I certainly have some key skills that would you need:

Many customer facing roles, such as visitor experience assistants and hospitality, has made me confident in speaking to people of all ages and backgrounds; answering questions and ensuring people have a nice experience.

More recently, my current job as an Event Planner at a popular cultural institution in London has allowed me to build upon organisation and timeliness, which is key when working with tight deadlines, and teaching schedules.
I manage client and cross-departmental relationships on a daily basis, so have no problem being communicative and friendly.

My commitment to my studies, from school to university, has enhanced my independence and dedication to the work I enjoy.

To summarise - being personable, attentive and enthusiastic are qualities are pride myself on having, and will be essential in assisting you.

Was noch ...

I love history - learning and teaching. I am currently training to be a tour guide at one of the most famous museums in the world, so I am comfortable speaking to large groups and telling interesting stories.
My hobbies include visiting museums & galleries, watching films, reading (all kinds of genre from classic to Harry Potter!), listening to music, playing games, trying new food and socialising, as well enjoying my own time.
