Beschreibung

Hi,

I am Sonja, a person that's eager to learn, work more with my hands, getting to know people and alternative lifestyles. I work as a social worker in Berlin, Germany, and am invested in children's rights and anti discrimination work. In my free time, I love to hike, do kayaking, biking, swim in lakes. Nature recharges my batteries. I want to connect with the land and people where I am and learn from and with them. I also want to work more with my hands (mainly gardening and building/maintenance stuff) and share skills I have, be it cooking or language skills (German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese), organizing stuff, communication and education/spend quality time with kids.

Currently, I am staying and volunteerin for nine months on this beautiful land of Greece. I feel very blessed and would like to get involved with permacultural and/or educational projects, as I also plan to live on the countryside and create a space for exchange, political groups, learning, sharing, living and planting together with some friends, so anything that´s hands on experiences are very welcome. I am looking forward to meeting you and get some projects done together!

I consider myself to be both a spiritual and a political person. The latter is important to me. So if you ignore or negate power imbalances in the world, ongoing genocides or human rights violations, we won't get along. Free Palestine!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As I am a trained social worker, I am good in working with children and adolescents aged 3 months to 22 years old, in communication and handling conflicts, trauma pedagogics. I have some gardening skills, as I volunteered in permacultural projects in Brazil, Germany and Greece before. I speak German, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese fluently, so if I can help with that, it´d be my pleasure. I am good in organizing things and to have an overview about things. It´s easy to me to structure myself. Both working in a team and working on my own are enjoyable to me and I have a lot of patience for tasks that are to be done.
