Hey! welcome to my profile 🤗🙏

I'm 29 years old, originally from Belgium and I've been away from home and discovering the world for the past 3 years. my purpose in life is to find connection and love within nature and other living creatures (that includes humans)
I find myself flourishing most when I'm surrounded by nature and people who share the same purpose. I love volunteering and I feel like I need it in order to keep a healthy balanced life. The planet needs to be taken care of and I'm here for doing my share.

I've graduated as a Belgian Sign Language Interpreter and I'm an experienced cook. I'm used to cooking in small restaurants and catering for large numbers. I've had beautiful experiences cooking (veggie&vegan food) with home grown produce.

In augustus 2020 I've moved into my self-built van. One year later I bought a bigger one and built it into a legit tiny home on wheels (see pictures). I've lived out of that one for another year and then I decided to fly to SE Asia and enjoy the backpacking life again. The van-conversions have taught me lots of carpentry skills. I've used these on multiple workaways. I've converted 2 shipping containers and built an entire micro cabin from scratch (that currently has someone living in it).
I'm always keen on learning more about self-sufficient living.
Ever since I was a kid, I used to go on camps where we would build everything from scratch and i loved it. that's where my first DIY experiences took place.

CURRENTLY:
I'm in Wellington, New-zealand with a working holiday visa. I've arrived in June 2023 so I'll need to leave the country in June 2024. First of all (obviously) I need to get myself into nature asap, this goes without say. My biggest priority next to that is learning about Maori culture. And, being a language-nerd, I want to start learning at least the basics of Te Reo.

FYI, I'm fluent in Flemish Sign Language (The only option in the list was ASL but of course, the Sign Language is different in every country). I'm very fluent in English and Dutch so I'd love to teach those languages. I'm keen on learning as many languages as possible, preferably Korean, Italian and other Sign Languages!
