Hello, we're Abbie and Riley. We're a couple originally from Hong Kong, now living in Australia permanently. Being new to the country, we would love to start our new chapter in life and meet new friends through Workaway!

We’ve returned from an incredible six-month backpacking trip from June to December 2025. Travelling opened our eyes and our hearts. We met incredibly kind people and witnessed stunning landscapes- it was a humbling reminder of how much there is to see and learn in the world, and that there are many different ways to live. The journey clarified what really matters to us—seeking happiness through new explorations and meaningful experiences.

We see our upcoming Workaway experiences as the perfect way to begin our new chapter in Australia. We can’t wait to meet amazing people, help with daily life, and contribute to something special.

We are responsible, open-minded, and quick learners who take on new challenges with enthusiasm. Whether it's helping with animals, property maintenance, hospitality, or general tasks, we are reliable and eager to help in any way we can.

About Chun Kei (Abbie):
I am a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. My job keeps me calm under pressure, detail-oriented, adaptable, and quick to learn—perfect for helping out at your place.

As a true animal lover, I genuinely adore spending time with animals and treating them like family. I'm flexible, open to any tasks, and truly enjoy helping out—whether it's following detailed care routines or just giving extra cuddles and playtime.

I love sports and staying active, so I'm more than happy to handle dog walks, energetic play sessions, garden care, or any physical jobs that come up.

Reliable, caring, and always ready to step in with a smile—happy to keep your place running smoothly!


About Yan Wah (Riley):
I’ve spent the last 4.5 years working as a creative strategist in digital marketing agencies, where I got confident in handling challenging tasks with a can-do attitude. I’m very detail-oriented and I always strive to complete my work as close to perfection as possible. My experience has also helped me develop strong interpersonal skills—I’ve grown to love connecting and collaborating with diverse groups of people, it’s something I genuinely enjoy!

Outside of work, I come from a creative background—I was trained in fine arts from a very young age, I enjoy making art both leisurely and professionally. I love anything artsy, crafty, or DIY-related, I’d be thrilled to help out on all kinds of creative and hands-on projects!
