'ello mate!
My name is Pauline and I am 26 years old. I have spent the last 7 years qualifiying and working as a paediatric occupational therapist in Berlin. It's time for me to take a break from my job and delve into a new adventure!

I have lived for several months in Belarus and the UK before, both in host families and volunteer accomondations so I know what it means to chip in. Going down under is not my first time abroad but definetely the furthest away! I am most interested in exploring Australia's fascinating nature and wildlife. I am also keen on learning about aboriginal culture.

My friends would describe me as an "all or nothing" person - once I commit to something I will give it my very best which makes me a thorough worker and a loyal friend.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

gardening/animal care/farm work: I grew up on the countryside taking care of horses, dogs, cats, ducks, rabbits, ... My tasks included feeding and grooming of the animals as well as helping to harvest their food (hay, turnips, apples, ...). I can even drive a small tractor!

Horse riding: It's been a while since I had dressage lessons working on my technique but I sat in a saddle before I could walk.

General maintenance: As part of my training as an occupational therapist I had lessons in wood working, basket weaving, sewing and making pottery. On top of that I have lived on my own for several years and successfully painted walls, built up furniture, repaired bicycles, un-clogged toilets...

Child care: I have worked as a fully qualified occupational therapist with children with behavioural and/or developmental issues from the ages of 2 months till 12 years. On top of that I have been a volunteer for a Belarusian children's hospice for 5 years, taking care of severely disabled children as well as their healthy siblings.

Was noch ...

I have been part of a drama group since I was 14 and also had piano lessons for 10 years. So I love getting creative in different ways.

On a quiet week night I love reading a good book or taking a long walk outside.
