Was noch ...
I spent four months in South America last year and fell in love with the people and the culture. I would love to explore it more and it is important to me that I am able to give back while I am in my journey as well. I love new people, new food and new places. I am a better person for my experiences and I am so excited to be continuing on!! Much love!

Jessica is one of those volunteers that is at home, comfortable and competent after just arriving. Although she only stayed just two weeks she fitted into our family really quickly and it was great hosting her over Christmas and New Year.

We were lucky to host Jessica for 3-4 Weeks at the project in Kasese, Western Uganda. We only expected a few hours of help as part of the exchange but she dedicated most of her day on ensuring the Elephant Coexistence beehive fences were all set up for our First pilot project in the community during her stay.

We had decided to tackle a massive prototype fence installation project as a way of dissuading the elephants that live in the national park from coming over and midnight snacking on the various yummy crops growing there.
