Beschreibung

Hi, we have decided to leave our jobs and our home in the UK and start travelling the world. Caleb is English and Irene is Spanish and at home we have a gorgeous tuxedo cat called Keecha whom we will miss very much once we leave to travel.

We are going to Japan from January to May 2025 and intend to visit South Korea for a couple of weeks whilst we are there. We are looking for somewhere to stay to learn about the local culture and everyday life in Japan.

Caleb works as software manager and is great with computer needs, including graphic design and website development. He also has done DIY projects in the past and is quite handy, doing electronics and woodwork in his studies. He has built tables and tools, and completely dismantled and rebuilt his bike.
In the past he was a swimming coach for 5 years, coaching children, one of which now competes in the Paralympics.

Irene works as a teacher in kindergarten with young children and has her Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification. She loves being around children and teaching them about new things. She is also very arts and crafty. She paints or makes pottery most weeks and will enjoy doing anything creative. Irene loves animals beyond imagination and will love to help take care of any you have.

We both enjoy cooking and gardening, trying to make fresh foods every day and maintaining our garden in Cambridge.

We would love to come and stay with you and learn about your life and culture and help in whatever way we can. Irene is bilingual in English and Spanish and Caleb is fluent in English and is learning Spanish currently.
Irene is also vegetarian, so she does not eat meat or fish. We hope you can accommodate us! We look forward to meeting you.

Caleb has done workaway and WWOOFing before in France in 2019, so has experience with the platform. But now we are trying to do it together for the first time. We hope to experience many great things!
