  We are a small family (my wife, our baby, and I) creating a peaceful and simple life in the mountains, surrounded by nature. Our project is a private homestead, where we gradually improve our living space and explore a more sustainable lifestyle.
  We welcome volunteers for a cultural and human exchange, sharing daily life, experiences, and simple moments together.
  Life here is simple and close to nature.
  We share meals when possible, but at the moment we are not able to provide food for volunteers.
  That’s why we ask for only 2 to 3 hours of help per day, depending on the activities, in exchange for accommodation. This creates a fair and relaxed exchange, leaving plenty of free time to enjoy the mountains, rivers and the beautiful natural surroundings.
  
  * What you can experience with us
  Life here is about slowing down and reconnecting with nature. Depending on the moment, you might:
  Help with light gardening and taking care of the land
  Discover and observe traditional techniques like dry-stone walls (light participation)
  Participate in small, simple outdoor projects (creative and non-technical)
  Share daily life: cooking, meals, discussions, relaxing time in nature
  Everything is done in a relaxed and friendly way, at your own pace, always together with us.
  We usually spend time together with volunteers, sharing knowledge about gardening, simple techniques and rural daily life.
  The presence of our baby also creates a calm and family-oriented atmosphere.
  All activities are simple, accessible and done together.
  For more technical or larger tasks, we rely on professionals when needed.
  All help is for our personal family needs and private homestead.
  Volunteers will not be involved in any paid or profit-related activities.

  Nous sommes une petite famille (ma femme, notre bébé et moi) en train de construire une vie simple et paisible en montagne, entourés de nature. Notre projet est un lieu de vie privé que nous développons progressivement, en explorant un mode de vie plus durable.
  Nous accueillons des volontaires dans un esprit d’échange culturel et humain, en partageant le quotidien, des expériences et des moments simples ensemble.
  La vie ici est simple et proche de la nature.
  Nous partageons les repas quand c’est possible, mais pour le moment nous ne sommes pas en mesure de fournir la nourriture aux volontaires.
  C’est pourquoi nous demandons seulement 2 à 3 heures d’aide par jour, selon les activités, en échange de l’hébergement. Cela permet un échange juste et détendu, avec beaucoup de temps libre pour profiter de la montagne, des rivières et du cadre naturel.
  
  * Ce que vous pouvez vivre avec nous
  La vie ici consiste à ralentir et se reconnecter à la nature. Selon les moments, vous pourrez :
  Aider au jardinage léger et à l’entretien du terrain
  Découvrir et observer des techniques traditionnelles comme les murs en pierre sèche (participation légère)
  Participer à de petits projets extérieurs simples (créatifs et non techniques)
  Partager le quotidien : cuisine, repas, discussions, moments de détente dans la nature
  Tout se fait dans une ambiance détendue et conviviale, à votre rythme, toujours ensemble.
  Nous passons du temps avec les volontaires en partageant des connaissances autour du jardinage, de techniques simples et de la vie rurale.
  La présence de notre bébé apporte également une ambiance calme et familiale.
  Toutes les activités sont simples, accessibles et réalisées ensemble.
  Pour les tâches plus techniques ou importantes, nous faisons appel à des professionnels si nécessaire.
  Toute l’aide concerne uniquement nos besoins personnels et notre lieu de vie privé.
  Les volontaires ne participent à aucune activité rémunérée ou liée à une production commerciale.

  As travelers ourselves, we're Alex (Corsican-Breton heritage) and Veronica (Sicilian roots), passionate about sharing our multicultural backgrounds through daily life on our place. Workawayers can join social gatherings with our family and local community, like traditional Corsican or Sicilian cooking sessions and musical evenings. We'll share skills in sustainable farming, language exchange (French, Corsican, Italian, Sicilian, Spanish, English), and regional crafts. In return, we hope to learn about your cultures, cuisines, and perspectives to enrich our nomadic lifestyle.
