The hill-tribe groups of Vietnam are a collection of diverse people. Although the natural beauty of the area is obvious they have some of the lowest standards of living, health and education around.

This is a program that allows you to live and work with local ethnic minority groups, to develop English language skills, improve life skills, and help improve the communication of the locals with the tourists. During your time volunteering here, you will have chances to have contact with local people, discover their culture and see many beautiful locations

Taking part in this unique program is an opportunity for volunteers/travelers to share experiences with the local community, bringing participants a meaningful volunteer program combined with ecological tourism and unique cultural exchange.

You can chose one of there are three placements where our program run follow:
    1. Cultural village of Red Dzao & Black H’Mong hill tribes in Sapa, Lao Cai province
Sapa is an ideal environment for a great diversity of ethnic minority people. For nearly two decades in an attempt to turn Sapa into one of the country’s premier tourist destination, the local ethnic people have experienced great changes, many of them negative, like ethnic minority children who left school to work for the tourist dollar from an early age, initially selling crafts to tourists or trying to become a tour guide. It is difficult life for these children without an education. An informal educational centre has now been set up by us to help them improve their current situation

    2. Cultural village of Black Nung hill tribes in Trung Khanh Alluring, Cao Bang province
Trung Khanh, a mountainous district in Cao Bang province, 332km from Hanoi to the northeast, houses many beautiful landscapes, specialities and rare and precious animals of the subtropical primeval forest, Trung Khanh attracts tourists who like ecological, geological and adventurous tourism because it boasts many waterfalls and marvellous caves. Particularly, it has been famous for Ban Gioc Waterfall, hundreds of metres in height and width. It is said to be the largest and most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam, it is also said the largest waterfall in Asia and the fourth largest waterfall along a national border in the world).

    3. Cultural village of Tay hill tribes in Ha Giang province.
Located 320km to the north of Hanoi on the border with China, In many traveler’s eye, Ha Giang is the most attractive destination in the country, with the rocky plateau at Dong Van, the love market at Khau Vai, Heaven's Gate over the Quan Ba Pass and the friendly, colorful ethnic groups. Ha Giang province is the last to open to tourism and offers some of the most striking sceneries in Vietnam. Virgin forests, natural fortress mountains sculpted into terraces, rock formations plateaus split by breathtaking canyons. These majestic landscapes shelter the largest diversity of ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Where keep pure landscapes and cultures than Sapa so you can explore the real life and natural landscapes in Ethnic minorities in Ha Giang like H'mong people. The area did not feel at all “touristy”. In that way it is entirely unlike Sapa. There is also virtually nothing to buy and no one is selling anything to tourists (unlike Sapa). We are highly recommended and please visit it before it becomes too popular!
