  Beschreibung

  Hy,
  We are a family with one kid, three dogs and one cat.
  We moved to a new location and need support in preparing and maintaing the outside area. We live on the top of the hill 10 minutes away of the sea. So the workaway should also include some discovery of Izola and the region as well as swimming and doing other loacal activities.
  We would be more than happy to host you in our apartment and provide also meals with our family. If you like dogs or have you own dogs, than you will fell at our place more than conftable. If you have any questions, just let me know!

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We are a family that loves to socialize and enjoy international visits where we can chat, eat and have fun together. Our dogs are always happy to cuttle with everyone, so don't be suprised, if at least one will want to hug you or jump in your lap. Our first Workaway was not planned, but it showed us how great it is to be with young people and learn from each other.
  I work at an educational center and can provide some opportunities for international exchanges, and I also know quite a few options for cultural activities in our area. Since we are at the crossroads of Croatia and Italy, there is also a very good opportunity to see the coexistence of three cultures. Izola itself is known as a city with a large cultural range and diversity, due to different nationalities.
  As for help, I have a lot of experience working outside in the garden as well as inside the home and I will be able to support you every step of the way in acquiring new skills. We have no shortage of tools and consequently no shortage of good will to work. So we will overcome obstacles together (unfortunately, I will have to be at work some days - but don't worry, I will show you everything first).

  Arbeit

  There is a lot of gardening tasks to be done in cooperation with some small DIY tasks, which will include also professionals.
  We would need help on the land, especially with external gardening and maintenance. There is no problem with knowledge, as we will teach you and show you how to do things. Where professional help is needed - for a smaller handy project (fence around the lower terrain) professional help will be provided. Otherwise, I will share my knowledge regarding gardening content. However, there is a lot of soil and stones that need to be sifted so that the grass can then grow. So there will be some physical work.

  Unterkunft

  We have an apartment for three people (one double bed and one sofa bed) on the location. During the summer season we host tourists there and it is equipped with everything necessary to meet your living needs. The apartment also has its own bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and your own cooking facilities. When I am not there, food will be available for you to prepare yourself in the kitchen. I will also buy the basic groceries you need to prepare breakfast and dinner independently, so that you are not dependent on our family schedule, which can be quite hectic ;-).
  
  The ingredients will be provided for breakfast and dinner. Besed also on a shopping list, which the workawayers give us as we know that diets are quite often a big problem when travelling.
  Lunch will be usually provided by us, either we cook or get food from our local provider - school. If there will not be anything cooked, we will provide food for the workawayer to cook on their own.

  Was noch ...

  We are a quiet family living in a very quiet street, which means that we do not allow parties or unannounced guests to the property. If a partner (boyfriend/girlfriend) or family member comes to visit, it is no problem, but we need to know this in advance. Smoking is allowed on the permises, but only outside.
  The apartment needs to stay celan all the time as it is our source of income during summer. We will ask you to be very careful when maintaining the apartment, and if your care is not appropriate (things are destroyed, etc.), this is one of the few reasons why we may ask you to leave your workaway with us.
  Pets are more than welcome, but they must be announced before arrival. We help take care of them if necessary, as our dogs are used to the company of other animals.
  Since we are on top of a hill, there is some public transportation available, but you have to be a little flexible with your schedule as transportation options are limited. When I go to Izola or back home, I can also give you a ride. If you have a car you can park close to the property.

  Digital nomads are welcome. We don't need their skills, but they can do their work in addition to the tasks we have, as quality internet services are guaranteed.

  Platz zum Abstellen von Camper Vans

  There is a public, free parking lot near our home (less than a 5-minute walk) that camper/motorhome owners can use. Within a 15-minute drive (in Koper), there is a specialized parking lot for campers/motorhomes, where they can go and take advantage of the necessary services for camper vehicles.

  We can accept cats, dogs and other animals (exept snakes and spiders - I am sorry but I am affraid of them). But for other animals, we need to talk first, if they are suitable.

  Gatto (5 Jahren)

  Our cat is the trouble maker in the fammily - he loves to tease our dogs and then play with them along or steal one of their beds. He ussualy never comes close to quests or other dogs. So you will probably not see him at all.

  Strela (2 Jahren)

  Strela is youngest of our dogs. She is the cuttle monster, which things that she is still a puppy and wants to get in the lap for cuttles. She loves to play and while playing with quests she often starts to engage her mother Sivka or other dogs to play along.

  Sivka (8 Jahren)

  Sivka is our mummy in the house. She is very peacefull and loves to play all the time. She loves walks and when she knows we are going for a walk or to work, then she runs to the car like crazy. When there are possible cuttles, she will be the firs one to come and say hello :-)

  Dea (14 Jahren)

  Our old lady is allready 15 years old and quite known for her lazy mood and loving other dogs. She is the dog kisser in the family. She loves all other anymals but is unfotunately allready quite blind and deaf. But we love her still every day and love to spend our free time with her!
