Help with our permaculture and food forest projects while learning about natural building in Gourdon, France

  Hi there :)
  
  We are Fatima and Rik and started 2 years ago a Permaculture adventure in the South West of France in the department Lot. We try to live in a way which we think is good for Mother earth :). We enjoy doing outdoor activities, making music, yoga, meditation and cooking.
  
  We love the area which is a mixture of small farms, forests, beautifull rivers, medieval villages and other natural wonders. Why we also chose this place, it feels kind of isolated and peacefull but we are just 6 km located of a small city with all the facilities like a cinema, a library, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and...a train station with direct connection to either Paris or Toulouse.
  
  On our land of 4000 m2 we are creating a small food forest. We have a vegetable garden and a walipini. We eat plant based, make use of a dry toilet and on sunny days use the outdoor solar shower and filter this water through ponds and plants.
  
  This wonderfull free live of ours gives us a lot of inspiration and ideas for future projects like builing a sauna, a mud/clay pizza oven and a geodome/treehouse :)
  We like to invite you to help us with these projects and the daily life of working on the land. We are looking forward to work together with you and share ideas, inspiration and wonderfull moments!

  While working together you'll will learn a lot of skills and get in contact with nature. We hope to create more conscienceness and might be able to share some valuable insights. We have lots of hobbies like cycling, hiking, cooking, making music and would love to share this. All year round, but especially from April to November, a lot of social activities like music festivals and markets are organized in our neighbourhood.

  Arbeit

  We would like to work together with you and share the skill along the way. This can be helping in the food forest, in the vegetable garden but also working on one of our projects like building a sauna or pizza oven with natural materials.

  Unterkunft

  We have a guest room available. A pitch for your tent or camper is also possible. We will provide in daily meals (breakfast and a warm meal at noon).

  We live in a beautifull area surrounded by medieval villages, forests, rivers and hills. Lots of wild animals to see as well :). Perfect to explore hiking or cycling. You're welcome to use our bikes.
